Serving the public has always been a passion of Tawni’s - and dentistry is part of that dedication to service and care. Tawni truly enjoys working with people, building relationships and providing a service based on satisfying your needs. For Tawni, there is no greater reward than the happiness of a satisfied patient.
Dr. Bailey’s extensive education in the health care field allows her to provide personalized and comprehensive care to each patient as an individual. She first completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with honours from the University of Western Ontario, which provided an excellent education in overall health and wellness. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto where received multiple awards for academic and clinical excellence and graduated among the top ten students in her class. Dr. Bailey decided to further her dental education and experience at McGill University’s Multidisciplinary Training Program as a dental resident at the Queen Elizabeth Oral Health Centre in Montreal. With her studies completed, she worked in both Northern Ontario and Manitoba before deciding to settle in the beautiful Laurentian region of Québec.
Dr. Bailey places high value on the importance of learning as a lifelong process and so attends continuing education courses on a regular basis. Keeping on top of the latest advances in dentistry and always working to better understand the connection between oral health and overall wellness means Dr. Bailey is always focused on offering proven and current technologies and complete care to her patients. She enjoys delivering all aspects of general dentistry to her patients, but particularly enjoys crown and bridge work, wisdom teeth extraction and working with children (pediatric dentistry). Dr. Bailey is an active member of the Ordre des Dentistes du Québec, the Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Québec, the Société Dentaire des Laurentides, and Canadian Dental Association.
Moving to Piedmont and starting the clinic in Prévost in early 2010, Tawni immediately felt at home in the tranquil pace of life and united community spirit the region offers its residents, and is grateful to live and work in such an environment.
Outside of work, Dr. Bailey enjoys staying active physically and mentally. She participates in both group and individual sports, loves running (in the summer only!), cross training, and yoga. She will travel anywhere, even if it’s just back to her hometown in Ontario. Tawni is also content to rest at home, relaxing in the good company of family and friends.
